sgt webb was a big help. long story short.. the one without water in it from a pulled off rad hose we had to put 2 batteries in and backed it onto the trailer without much problem... no air was working on that truck so my small gen. with air compressor did the trick in airing up many flat tires... long time... second truck was a no start... after 3 hours and sgt webb lending us a large 900 series 5ton to slave off of we gave up... pulled it up onto the trailer with a chain.. now the nice patient and helping trucker.. denise was off for his 1000 mile run.. we did have fun:p

Ah, that M36 was in decent shape minus the rust on the hood.. Glad to hear he was able to drive it out the gate.. !! Only one flat on it but it wasn't cut..

It was nice meeting yall also. And the truck drove really well and gave us no issues at all.

Now for some truck porn... (before we inflated the rubber...)

Hey, JeepJeep - glad you made it OK.

Tim - You didn't get one for yourself? Did you do some recon while you were there?

i have promised the wife that i wouldnt buy anything else till i get what i have fixed up.. painted or whatever it needed.. so i didnt buy one or look to see what was there.. just drooled some.. today i ordered 2 cases of paint so i can get busy... i really didnt like the drive of that a3 or the 900 series 5ton cargo that i was driving around.. those autos are way to quick to jump up and run for my taste... but i could get use to one.. heheaua:razz:

I followed jeep-Jeep and Buckmaw the last few miles of the trip, they made it home about 11pm. The truck runs great, and reportedly drives as good as it looks. They had some trouble starting her but I found the fuel injector purge routine in the TM for them and they got her going. The report this morning is that the tires are all still up and she started right away, I think she is a keeper! The rust on the hood and door should be easy fixes.

Started work on the hood and general cleaning today .
A wire brush some navel jelly ,a tad of bondo ,primer and a few cases of rapco carc rattle can and she should look like new .
I may want to replace the radiator hoses if anyone has a part # it would help.
the lower looks slightly cracked and one upper as well.
