2 high not working on deuce

My deuce will only go in low when i put it in high the truck will not move.

I read the title and thought you were too high to work on the truck. My bad.

Is it slipping or is the engine being pulled down to a stall? Good luck on it.

Time to start looking for a trans. Second gear is the deuce transmission's weak spot. It probably took out the main shaft.

I think he is saying it does not move in high range(transfer-case).

Perhaps a better description of his problem would help.

Ah, that makes sense. get under and check the transfercase linkage for the "detent" settings. It might need adjustment.
