Thanks CARNAC,
Is there no way to tell if it's a A2 or A3 and what may have been mounted on the back of it?
Thanks Again
It would not have been an A2 or A3 or it would have had a different NSN. As for mounted in the back, the M1028s early one did carry a fair share of shelters but as the HMMWV came out, they were relagated to being nothing more than standard utility cargo trucks.

First of all thank you for your service and reputation out there in the MV world.

My name is Harry Henkel out in Huntington Beach, CA.
I purchased this MUTT from Franklin Graham ( son of the late Billy Graham ) and his business partner in April ,2010 . They are located in Boone,North Carolina. The vehicle registration shows they had the MUTT since 01/23/2002.

I was told and the vehicle had the following markings-
30 th infantry Division
113 Artillery - HQ 4
They stated the vehicle was from the North Carolina - South Carolina/ Georgia Army Reserve/ National Guard. I assumed the markings were just a tribute to the above.

FYI/ALCON

When CARNAC finds the info on your HMV and has found the unit/s it once belong to before original sale at
DRMO/GL then GOOGLE those units. Some of the web searches have no exsistance to a ton of information to include
pictures that may or may not have your HMV in. If nothing more then you have the history of that unit.

I did a search on a few and some units has had a interesting past. One site I hit you have to become a member and who
knows what you will find through a blog.

Can't help you on DODAACs or UICs only for a unit ID because they are classified and only on a need to know basis.
Hope you find the INFO you looking for.

Later Joe
Very good advice. THANKS!

BTW, got a larger picture of your avatar?

Thank you so much, CARNAC! I looked up the number you gave me, WTY9AA. Google brought up a PDF file off a ROTC National Guard website that lists all the NG units accross the USA. After scanning down 91 pages I finally found my number!

UIC OFF BR UNIT # UNIT DSG CITY ST ZIP

WTY9AA 1 AG 0363 HHD LANSING MI 48910

Looks like HHD means it's a Headquarters truck. No idea what the 1 or AG stands for.
