This seems like a dumb question but I went to remove the top today to give it a good scrubbing since I have never before. There seems to be either a rubber seal or some adhesive after I removed all the screws. Figured I post on here before I push my luck and break something.

There are no screws holding the top on.
Undo the 3 turnbuttons above each door on the inside.
Pull the top material off of those turnbuttons.
Undo all the turnbuttons on the rear rollbar (c-pillar).
Pull the material off of those.
Undo the single turnbutton on each side of the windshield frame.
Pull the material off those.
Undo all the velcro straps around the bows on the inside of the humvee.
Flip the top over onto the hood.
Pull the top to one side of the humvee and slide it out of the channel on top of the w/s frame.
Some dish soap will help get it back in.
DO NOT remove the metal strip (channel) on top of the w/s frame.
