Not sure if this is exactly the right place, so apologies in advance. as the title reads, I have a few questions in relation to the engine on my trailer mounted lube unit. It appears it has been converted to the electronic ignition. I dont know when or by who. Can anyone tell me if this.. wire job is correct? Thanks in advance, and again, sorry if I'm on the wrong sub forum.

That is not normally how its done. Still might work. But its a shabby "repair". The military converted most of them in the 80's, or 90's. The TM's for the engine are in the Generator Forum. I think the info on the conversion is also in the TM's. I will look when I get some time.

The first PDF is from an old TM, it might help. The second is from the new engine TM. Its TM9-2805-262-14. Open it up, start reading on PDF reader page # 170. I will see if I have the old TM someplace, as I think it explains it better.
