I posted a week ago about having trouble with the brakes on a 800 series 5 ton. I got a air assist from the forestry dept this week and put it on today. The old one was pushing hydraulic fluid out the exhaust port on the air assist. New one was just a little shorter but everything hooked up. Bled the air assist at the two bleeders and got the pedal back to where it needed to be. I took it out for a drive and apparently it had been going bad for a while. Never had brakes that good since we got it to make a fire truck 2 years ago. Here are a fewpics of the before and after.
