Hi guys,
i prepare my M1078A1 for t 800miles trip next week. I check the outer planetary hubs. I read the the plug has been at 8 or 4 o´clock to check the oil level.
on the right back there comes out about 5L and than i put the plug in, was not empty.

Is there a connection from the axle to the planetary hub and that is ok? The truck is 2004 and only 4000miles.

Please help.
Best regards

Shared lube in back with the planetary hubs and differential.
Fronts are independent from the differential and for no more than the fronts hold it doesn't hurt to drain and refill to make sure they are fresh and full.
Front planetary hubs 11-13 oz. GO-80/90 per 20-1 TM page 1555.
