6.44 gears in a deuce

I noticed that the front axle in one of my deuces has a depot rebuild tag on it, the tag also says that its has a 6.44 ratio. Has anyone ever seen 6.44's in a deuce? I'll try to remember to read the tags on the rear tomorrow.

Probably a tag from a 5 ton axle, they have the 6.44 ratio
