6.5 vs 6.5 optimizer

Can anyone tell me the differences between the de-tuned 6.5L and the 6.5L optimizer? And will the optimizer bolt right in place of the 6.5 with no modifications?

I am not an expert but have been reading up on this. Yes, it is supposed to be a direct replacement. I understand you get 10 more hp from the optimizer and solves a few of the block and head problems. They also changed the metal type to prevent block cracking due to water flow issues.

Anyone else, please correct me if I am wrong.
