Iam going junkyarding tomorrow and I know theres a civi 6.2 jimmy there dont know what trans is in it so were is that part located if its there Ill pull it. Cheers Scott

Never seen one, but you got me thinking. The HMMV. with the turbo 400 runs a brackett very similar to the 700 R4 in your picture. It also runs a detent cable.

It is located on the back of the engine on the driver's side head, behind the intake. Be sure to grab the rod that goes with it. Maybe even the cable because they are different from the gasser version.
