We know everyone's been busy with vacations and "to-do" lists, but lets get together and catch-up. Juddspaintballs is looking for some help with an engine swap. After breakfast, we can convoy out to his place and lend a hand. Anyone interested in getting together with other MV enthusiasts, meet us at 10 am Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Bob Evans Restaurant located on Liberty Rd (Rt 26) just West of Sykesville Rd (Rt 32) - 1211 Liberty Road Eldersburg, MD 21784. If you are interested, please let me know, so I can arrange for enough seats at the restaurant.

Robert, I will try to make it on Saturday but I do hate mornings. I think we met over on Livestock Road when you spotted my 5 ton m813a1. You have a good eye. It is still for sale. I should be there. Just got the cargo cover back on. Anyone got a new exhaust J-pipe or a used heater air intake hood they want to part with? The bottom of my J-pipe finally rusted through and I'm tired of looking at the gaping hole in my driver side engine access panel.

I may have one of those hoods extra, let me check. The truck I bought came with 3 engine side covers, I threw the one in the junk pile [bent up some] but I think it had that cover on it. I'll check tonight.

I have a J-pipe that is in tact that I will not be using...


Anyways, both motors and transmissions are ready to come out of the trucks. One will go into Phil's pickup bed and the other will go into the bobbed deuce I'm working on. It's kind of weird to see a deuce that is nothing but a rolling chassis with a motor in it.

I dont have a spare J pipe, but that side cover in the pic your welcome to. I wasnt gonna save it as they are easy enough to make if i should need another, [the heater hood that is] can't keep everything ya know!!
