813a1 rev counter

Hi to all
Can anyone tell me where do i start to look for the fault on my 813 with the rev counter , it was working fine but over the past few months it has started to just stop working and then start again , now the thing has stopped all together can anyone suggest where i start to look before i go taking the dash apart

Check your tachometer cable. Mine did exactly that a couple of years ago, it was the cable dying. Put a new one on, works fine. It is a quick and easy job.
