83 CUCV lost power??

I have a 83 blazer that just lost all power on acceleration.When you step on the pedal it lugs way down and then will gradually pick up speed.It is also smoking black smoke.This just started today.Any ideas.Also the engine seem to be louder than it was???

If its smoking alot of black smoke, I would check your air filter for a blockage.
