8D battery in M923A2 ??

Havent seen my trucks yet, just wondering if 8Ds will fit,and were are they.

Yes two of them will fit under the Passenger side bench seat in a M923A2 basically 1 8D battery will take the place of two 6TL batteries. The M939 series trucks normally come with a total of 4 6TL batteries wired as 2 each wired in series to equal 24volts and then the second set of batteries that are in series as well are then wired to the first bank in parallel thus giving a greater reserve capacity .

Good luck getting them in/out without a crane!

Yeah they are harder to do by yourself with them coming in around the 120 to 165 lbs mark depending on what brand you purchase.
