I used Aircraft Form a Gasket (AFG). Make sure to take the bearing spacers out so the shafts are free. When all together, you set the bearing pre-loads. They fit slightly closer than having a gasket with AFG. I got the input shaft set first, rotating back and forth by hand to feel when the bearing is getting tight, then move to the intermediate shaft and then the output. I had dropped a retaining ring and had mine (M817 w/Spragg) apart about 4-5 times... and the AFG still sealed.
