A few steering box questions

Hi, I have a huge leak at the steering box, the new one is already here, BUT right now it’s stranded too far from my shop. The leak is huge, it seems like it would drain all the fluid in less than five minutes . So my first question is do you think I could bypass the steering box, plug directly the outlet hose of the steering box to the outlet of the hydroboost?
Is it the same hose connector?
I would still have the brakes and wouldn’t run the ps pump empty, but Would i be able to steer ( while moving)?
I tried to remove (on the field) the pitman arm from the box and broke a two jaws bearing puller... and it was a good one... so what tool do you use to break it free? I saw a nice (expensive) puller for the Sheppard box but if I remember correctly it’s much bigger than the saginaw, and the tool would be too big?
I also couldn’t fit my usual tie rod puller between the pitman arm and the drag link so if you have the parts number of a tool strong enaugh, which fit, and that I can order online I’d be happy.

Thanks
