you have installed this and it jives ok with alternator etc...... ?

The oil pressure gauge works now.
I was not aware the oil pressure gauge had any influence on the alternator?
I thought that was related to the oil pressure switch?

was of understanding the switch was working off the pressure sensor as well....... apparently Im wrong. Are they both mounted int their own oil port?

Nope, seperate devices. They are mounted to the same pipe tee though.
