Addition of 1 Ton Bed Crane

My hand winch has a hole in the drum and then there is a bolt that retains the end - I just had an eyelet swedged on the end and bolted it in - once you get two or three wraps on the drum it's the friction that holds the load...

I think the heaviest item I have picked up so far was a Miller 330 bp tombstone style TIG welder - it was about 950 lbs and it went up easy. Also set down a rock crusher inlet cone (bad arse firepit) out of the bed to the ground which was probably 1600 lbs or so, maybe more (Cast Iron - 48" OD with a 20" ID, ~20" tall with a 2" wall thickness)

That safe was only about 600 lbs...
