Air assist working correctly or not

This is the only air assist I've ever been around and I'm curious if its working as intended or not.

I realize there are many threads discussing issues and resolving those issues. I'm not trying to resolve any issues with this thread, just wondering if it is working normally or not.

The steering wheel is easy to turn when sitting still or driving.
Turning the wheel is fairly even but it does have a slight "lumpiness" to at times.
Every now and then it blows off air but this is not consistent and does not really lower the air pressure of the truck (I think it sounds cool . ).

Sounds right to me. Might want to put some oil in the air lines to smooth out the lumps.
