Has anyone had any luck dropping in a K&N air filter into your Deuce? I was just looking on the cross referance guide and was wondering.

well,K&N is just a waste of money. They flow a lot more cause they don't filter worth a flip. Also, the side by side comparison between a paper filter vrs K&N over a period of time really makes the K&N suck. They flow GREAT but the line drops like a rock when compared to the paperfilter.Almost straight down as it gets dirty then flattens out.The Paper is a gradual drop with more curve towards the end.K&N is great for engines that get run a few times and rebuilt and the filter gets washed every day.If you want a drag engine or a pure race engine then they would be good. But 100,000mile engines you don't want them on.
