I kinda figured thats what it was which leads to the question can you remove the air cylinder without removing the case
from the truck? The reason I ask is there is a cross member located in front of the cylinder that would limit the removal.

Take the right sockett and grinder and make two flats on the end so you can put a adj. wrench on it. Then remove the nut that holds on the piston and the cyl. will come off before it hits the x member.

listen... its not that complicated... just take the 4 bolts off with a box end wrench, tap with a rubber mallet it all comes apart.. all you need is a seal,

you have enough space to do this.
