also i noticed that the Cirect breaker button was out i tried to push it in but would not stay i do not know if its suppose to be like that or not

Normally the CB is a push/pull "Switch". Do you mean in a powered up situation? Or a non powered up situation?

What’s the update on this? I have the same HVAC but not the extra switches. I hooked the leads to the gen according to the picture posted above leaving the small black one disconnected. Running mine with a MEP-802A genset. Will run on vent all day but when I switch it to cool, it throws a Short Circuit fault on the generator after about 2 minutes. Should I connect that smaller black wire to the L1 lead to prevent the short circuit fault?
