Almost silly MEP-002 question

OK guys - here's what may be the most inconsequential question of the day. My MEP-002a came to me with a burned out bulb on the panel. I decided yesterday to order a new lamp, and found a lamp housing on ebay that reads "bulb not included." I went out and tried unscrewing the top of one of my lamp housings to get at the bulb, but probably due to age I can't figure out how they come apart. So....

How do I get the lamp holder open and while I'm typing, what goes in it for a replacement bulb?

Also, if you haven't already, you should open the control panel and make sure the wires to bulb holder are firmly attached. You never know until you look if a wire has somehow been detached, cut or corroded.
