Another trans question.

2 years ago my trans was working properly until i dropped the trans to fit a new flex plate.After it would shift up the gears quick and not shift down until i hit the kickdown.Then it would kickdown 2 gears sometimes.After reading all the trans probs athers were having i changed all the rubber piping and the modulator.The other day i did spot one pipe i forgot...the pipe on top of the vac pump.This had hardened like plastic.So i changed it.It did change up a bit better for a day but would not change down on hills.Anyone any ideas???

I would replace the modulator, blow out the line vacuum line and check the vacuum at the pump.
