Searching for the 626489-4 part number reveals the following:

5985-01-292-0036, 3380-8008-0006, 626489-4

SINCGARS

Pacer Speak The family includes the GRC-206, the AN/PRC-113 manpack( 116-150 & 225-400 MHz), the AN/TRC-176 transportable, and the AN/VRC-83 vehicle-mounted radios.

The unified, micro-computer based set control of the RT- 1319 receiver/transmitter allows 4 radios to be controlled from 1 central radio. Through a fiber optics link, remote control is possible at up to 1.8 nm (2 mi;3.3 km).
These radios integrate High Frequency (HF)/Single Sideband (SSB)-both Upper Sideband and Lower Sideband (USB and LSB), Very High Frequency (VHF)/Ultra High Frequency (UHF)-Amplitude Modulation (AM) and VHF-Frequency Modulation (FM) communications. In addition to the channel presets, a guard channel is designed in. Optional Electronic Counter-Counter Measures (ECCM) and Communication Security (COMSEC) capabilities are also available.
GRC-206(V)1 can be fitted with KY-57 or KY-65 COMSEC devices; GRC-206(V)2 cannot.

Thats the baseball bat antenna, (no kidding, thats what we called it when I worked on the GRC 206). Its the UHF/VHF antenna used with the GRC 206 radio pallet. Back in the 90's we had GRC/206 Radio pallets mounted in HMMWV's for our Forward Air Controlers. The UHF/VHF radios were for talking to aircraft. Want to sell it?

Sure. Pm me. I also have the sugar scoop and a mounting post attached to it. I'm looking for some sort of vehicle mounted military HF antenna to go with my Icom mobile HF radio. I want to avoid putting a civvy antenna on my M1009 if at all possible.

Go with a Hi-Q antenna for HF. The 680 or the 6160 MC-3 antenna is HF. I have the 680 MC-30. It is an awsome antenna, and it outperforms any mobile HF antenna out there. I would also like to through my hat in the ring for that antenna. I would like to use it in conjunction with my MC-3 on my Ft-857 radio. Let me know how much you want for it.

Thanks for the antenna info, I'll take a look at those. Has anyone ever built a loop type NVIS antenna. i thoought one of those might work good on a M1009.

AS-3588/GRC, I think, which as has previously been mentioned goes with the AN/GRC-206 FAC setup. Been looking for one forever, so if anyone has a spare or anything else radio-related for the GRC-206 - lemme know!
