Any way of knowing if this M1008A1 went to the sandbox? Has tan paint and SWA stamped on data plate

Just curious if anyone more familiar with how vehicles were marked in the motor pool could help me understand the “SWA” stamp on my truck data plate. It is painted in desert carc on the exterior.
