Anyone have a Mep 802A fU1 FUSE or konow of an equivalent fuse (F03A125V30A) ?

You ought to be able to leave a jumper across CR1 as long as needed. It's there to prevent damage to the set in case the batteries get hooked up backwards.

The solar diodes will work.

Be sure the sets have the Fuse Mod installed in them.
