Armed Forces Day display...

The Indiana MVPA has asked for members to help with displays of their equipment and items at the Indy 500 Race Track for the Armed Forces Day Memorial that the Indiana National Guard is helping to put together. This will be about 10-days before the race...19-20 May. Contact person is...Greg Klug...gklug@indy.rr.com....(317) 590-1007. Hope to see many new faces there.

The Indy 500 time trials are being held at the same time as this event,so there will be many vendor's and plenty of other things going on at the same time. Was just advised by Greg that if you display a vehicle,you will get a pass for the event and a couple meal tickets also. As this is the first event of it's kind at the Indy 500, they hope to make it a yearly event. What a chance to make the public more aware of our hobby....!!!
