Assistance identifying a connector

I found a electrical connector unplugged that I have not noticed before, it is out of the main wiring harness between the fuel filter and transmission dip stick, attached is a photo. Truck is a M1031

Do not see any location to connect in the area.

Any suggestion where the connector attaches or what it is for?
