I found this. Maybe it will help.

http://www.steelsoldiers.com/cucv/75505-cucv-wiring-diagram-color-except-m1010.html

EDIT- I've searched because I would like to know too. The only thing I can think of is trace wires and see where they go which you may not be able to do because of the engine swap. Maybe someone will help as I would like to save this information for future use. Sorry and good luck.

(12V tied to the ignition switch?)

Ya don't bother finding how it used to work, make it work now. Done-ski.
Also, how do you feel about the deal on the motor? Share details.

Uh Dave..... isn't the gp solenoid 24v ?????
The top is Dave.. I found a term (ST 85) that is 12v with ign. on... it works till I can figure this out.. it happen to the same location I feed my fuel pump from.. once the phone charges up.. I have fuse in line with hook up.. BTW I am on the break over charging according to my volt gauge it on the line between green and red.. should this be a concern??? yes the alt are rebuilt..

I just want to make sure I don't smoke anything.. as for the motor I luck out a couple years ago I bought 3 cans with motors out creekside for 4 bills, two where rebuilt @ fort campbell in 2006 never had been installed.. never the less I compres. check it pulled the oil pump and swap it with the oil pan pulled the valve covers ect.. evrything look never with assembly lube ect..
The motor itself was different from the old one I had refeed the turbo from the sender location ... I fried my cam on the previous set up because turbo feed was too big and robb the oil from the engine, I am guessing but the oil pan was full of gold flakes ect.. I am assuming the it was babbit materail..
The new motor is really quite different ..
I ll post some pic later..
the pump is the artic config. one
the rebuild is 020 assuming everything is
1/2006 tested
turn the key off it clunks, Iam told it the the compression ect..

The bottom of the GP relay (large stud) is 12v because the combination of the glow plugs and resistor creates a voltage divider but only when the glow plugs are heating.

There should be no voltage on the glow plug side of the relay (large stud) once the engine warms and controller stops calling for glow plug operation.

If you are using the small stud with the pink/black wire that wire is fed 12V any time the ignition is on and receives voltage via the fuse block. Perhaps your fuse block is properly fed but is damaged or needs cleaning or the firewall coupling needs cleaning.

Check out this thread:

I was looking at your pictures and wonder why you don't do the gp resistor bypass? It has been one of the better things I've done to make my truck more reliable and is easy to do.

I almost suggested the 12 volt junction for power. I am hoping I never have to mess with my fuse box as it looks like a PITA.

I did they it is under the wire loom stuff.. My batt. are remoted to the rear of the truck via the rear buss bar.. 12v after I master 24lol
Kip I hope this one hold together longer... I just sold my other 1009 for some magic beans,, I have become obess with this one, can't wait to get it done so I can burn it lol.. all gose well, all that will be left is the A/C install heated, seats, some sound proofing and a green carc paint job..
