Fuses are rated for a voltage range, not a specific voltage. A 250V fuse is good for any voltage from 0-250V. You're ok.

Yep and a fuse is better than a piece of wire.. LOL

And for what it's worth, it was probably that rusty water that shorted out that fuse.

Lots of switchs and relays are the same way. rated for a voltage range.
