Batteries

Hello All New recruit here
I just got my M35A2 home I scored on GL Had no luck with the batteries that were in the truck must be dead cell. So I took two regular car battereies I have that I know are good wired them in series to produce 24v got the air buzzer and got my gages working and the in tank fuel pump but every time I hit the starter the air buzzer gos out and the starter dosent even click. The question I have is are stanerd batteries abel to put out the amps needed or is my problem something else. Thanks

std batteries work fine. you have a bad connection on your cables.

Check the ground cable to the frame. They are problem children.

Thanks to all for the help will kleen all connections. As to where I am located the closest town is Resaca just north of calhoun. and thanks again for the advice.

Thanks clinto didnt know there was something like this so close to home I plan to be there hope to have the war hourse ready by then but I dont think it will be so I guess I will be comming Via F350
