Hey gang,

I have a 5 ton that is on 24v system with two batteries. I want to set up a trickle charger like Battery Tender to keep the batteries charged and happy.

I found one, Battery Tender 24 Volt 2.5 Amp Water-Resistant Battery Charger. Would this work for what I am wanting to do and with a two battery set up at 24V, would I hook up the positive to one battery and the negative to the other battery?

I have one for my 56 Chevy and its 12v that works fine for it and I want the same set up for the 5 Ton.

Im new to this and trying to figure it out as I go.

Thanks
