You mean on the walls (sides)? I have seen 'em if that's what we're talking about.

They are used on some deuces. I've heard exactly what their purpose is but sure can't recall>

There's a kit. It's for tying down cargo, be it crates or what have you. There are 6 tie down point kits at Coleman's Surpus. Bolts, tie downs and all, just no drill bits.

The A3s have 'em for sure. Might be a few A2s with them also. There's a picture of the pockets from outside the bed in my M35A3 post in the Photo Gallery section.

I think they tie downs are just on the dropside beds. If anyone has a dropside out the recessed tiedowns please speak up.

I've had several of eah without them. I've heard that they were installed for securing nuclear ordinance but can't remember where I heard that. Can't verify so its just a thought.

Those pictures help! The ones I have seen for sale have what looks like an outer cover that would bolt up outside the bed. Looks like it would be a reinforcement as well. I guess I will pick up a set or two and install them in mine. It is handy to be able to tie things down on occasion.

I appreciate that rdixiemiller! I figured posting that might help keep the price down a bit. If someone is in dire need of them then send me a pm and I wont bid anymore. Thanks, Devin

If you can find TB 9-2300-280-30 it will give you info on istall instructions for various MVs m35's use 20 tiedowns. I have been trying MILDOCS for three days but their ETM search has not been working.
