Bigger exhaust for more power

Anyone ever added a bigger exhaust pipe and stack; did it increase your power any?

I agree with Jwaller. I put a 4" on with straight through muffler.
No increase in power, EGTs were close to the same.

But it DID sound a lot different. A lot more throaty compared to the stock exhaust.
