black out lights ?

The wires on my rear blackout lights are broken . My question , is do the red lights come on with the brakes and the single white light in the center just as a marker? I have never owned one that the lights work so I did not know what works with what on the back.

The red are the driving lights (on all the time in B.O.) and the white is the B.O. brake light.

Thanks for the help . The wires are ripped out of the lights and I wanted to make sure I put them back right.
