Blinker/ brake light issue

This is driving me nuts!!!!
I godly M998 .The blinker is intermittent ( sometimes it works ,most times the blinker indicator stays on with no lights outside) and when it stays on my brake lights don't work. Any suggestions? I've opened up my blinker switch it looks normal. Cleaned out the grounds to the llback light. (Those two bolts on the back of the light base) any suggestion where should I start my hunt?
PS I have LED back lights .
