Blinker issue

Hello,

So since I've had this truck (M1008 ) I've had an annoying problem with my turnsignals. I 'fixed' it by buying a new blinker relay everytime, but that is getting real old. The ones I bought now are maybe 3 weeks old and rapidly getting worse. The problem is, they start out fine, but in a short amount of time the start blinking faster and faster until, ultimately, they stop blinking at all.

These vids were taken a week ago, it has become much worse in the mean time.
But it also goes to show that the grounds to the turn signals are good.

Please explain in simple terms, electricity is like voodoo to meaua

Thanks in advance

I would check out all of your connections. Check the rear trailer plug connections and make sure there is no build up of corrosion anywhere. Check all the bulbs. But I think you have a bad connection or a weak flasher. I use electronic HD solid state Truck lite Ultra Flasher II on all my CUCV's. They are a direct plug in. They are about the size of a pack on cigarettes and get mounted to the firewall 2 per vehicle. Check that out. Just some help not gospel.
