We've got guy's here at the truck pulls that run propane and nitrous! They'll start out rolling coal and when they flip the switch it cleans it right up!

That's usually caused by the basketball sized turbochargers needing ten minutes to spool up.

Maybe but I've seen under the hood and tool box of one of them. 2 stage propane and 1 shot of NOS. 6.0's don't last long stock or modified. Ha ha!
I've seen then modified and pushed to the point that it splits the block down the lifter valley!

I sold an 8.3 liter block to a guy who said he was getting 1000 hp out of them and split a block at tje cam....

It's on Youtube. The Pistons blew the top of the block off and the tractor ran over it's own engine.

It sounds like all you want to keep is the cab .

Im hoping to keep the hood,cab and bed . The plan is to try to not make it look to much like a frankentruck lol

The 8.3 block may be stout, but the rest is not. I've learned the hard way that an 8.3 is not to be hot rodded. Used to think that they were the 5.9's bigger badder brother. I was very disappointed to find out otherwise.
