Bows, corners and troop seat parts

I see them all the time. I don't bid on them because they are to big or long to ship reasonably.

Yes retail prices for the troop seat hardware
are pretty ridiculous!! for a fake !! go figure.
I'm sure your aware of it but what ever you put into the truck
chances are you will never recoup the money its the nature of the beast BUT
you will have something to enjoy that most will never have.
Another bet for you would be to
locate your local guy( I think everyone has one within 100 miles) that has stockpiled surplus on his property for what ever reason for decades (best bet)
or check around your local municipalities see if they have a truck with the hardware and offer to buy the parts you need, they may have a vehicle or the parts that are out of service just sitting there you never know.( I have done this often)
you are right shipping is going to be expensive from the dealers
but for the hardware its 3 sets of parts it may not be to to bad.
Last bet would be to locate a fabricator and have him make them
(I also have had a guy make stuff for me)

Snake River has the troop seat brackets, got mine there.
just installed the one side, works nice.

Midwest Military has just the seat brackets. I actually have one extra of the seat pieces (3 brackets plus the wood) $50. Vintage Power Wagons and Snake River have the rest of the seat parts. I think VPW has more of the smaller parts. Trying to find them used will be very hard, and if you do find a set, you better be very fast buying them cause they won't last.
