Brake Fluid for CUCV

Hi All!

I'm a little bit confused - I'm in Europe (Ukraine) and don't know what kind of brake fluid should be used in my CUCV.

Could you please give me examples of brake fluid can be used in CUCV.
I'm sorry for question, I know it is recommended too use DOT 5 silicone only but I don't know what is European name of this fluid.

Could you please help me?

I have no fluid at all so I will not mix anyway.

I bled all the DOT 5 out of the system when changing mine with DOT 3. I believe this is mfg. in Ukraine.

If it has truly all been drained, you could use either DOT 3 (common fluid) or DOT 5 (silicone). I would imagine you could use one of the others too, as long as it's not mixed.

I assume your cucv are the surplused from Ukraine, that came from Norway mines? At least your gov. had the right idea.. to get rid of them ASAP lol.. they are maintence mightmare....

I got my truck not from Ukrainian government, I guess it was moved from USA years ago.
It is real Nightmare to find ANY part. But I like it - i think it is only one such truck in my city
