I am in the middle of painting a newly acquired truck... I am painting in a 10 x 20 tent with sides. Everything is going great but for one thing. Bugs! They have been making their way in there and sticking to the paint. I have just finished the second coat of primer. I would like to figure out a way to keep them out for when I start color. Any ideas?

Fans will help keep the air moving which will deter the bugs from flying near there. Set a couple at one end to pull air in and past the truck, and two at the other end to move the air out. Obviously don't paint with the fans on, but switch them on right after laying the paint to keep the bugs moving.

Good ideas. I have a bug zapper going right now and two fans. Hopefully it will do well. Before I started painting today, I let loose a bug bomb to kill what was there.

Oh the joys of outdoor painting. The cottonwood trees were shedding when I did mine. I was surprised, but the fuzz rubbed right out.
