Those soldiers are just a important to the war effort as the rifleman .
Are you referring to my comment that a small percentage actually fights ? I never said they where not important, just that a small number actually fights. I was a Fleet Marine (fighting unit) then transferred into a Motor Transport unit. We used to say that without us "The Fleet had to beat feet" to get where they wanted to go. Beans, Bullets, Band-Aids. Without those no one is doing any fighting.
