I am looking at buying one off of CL this weekend. I haven't seen it, but it looks good in the pictures and the claim is no rust, just a few dings. I will fly out there and drive it home. The only problem is the injection pump. How hard is it to fix and how bad is it to drive it 600 miles home and do it when I am here?
What is the best approach to make sure it is sound. The link is below. I am waiting for more pictures.....

that 1009 is in my drive now

The pump is getting replaced today. I drove it 250 miles before it started to worry me. Yes the body is spotlessly clean. Looks like my first cucv will be a good one!

RE: day late

I know how it feels. I've been there many times. I have been wanting one of these for a while now, but I am way too picky about rust and heavy use. Should be plenty on the GL site over the next year. I know that the Guard unit in Topeka turned in several nice ones a couple of weeks ago.
