Camping in a 416

I found these pictures on anouther trailer site and thought they were
interesting. The owner built a camper top on his M416 and matched it to his civilian jeep.

Not a true military version but cool just the same.
And it is removable too.

That's nice. A 416 was one of the first military vehicles I ever slept in. When you're light infantry, you'll take whatever you can get. So my 6'3" frame didn't complain at all.

Camping in a 416 - man, my wife started complaining when I mentioned putting a cap on the 101a2 and an air mattress! I thought it was a grand idea! But then again, we are downsizing from a 27' RV - I can kinda see where she is coming from.

For 1 man it would probably be a good size for pulling, albeit a little short!
