can alternator bracket changed out

alternator went out had 2 new ones when truck was picked up but do not mount the same can a standard gm bracket off lets say 350 work have no need for dual alternators please help m1010

ok I got it.. No you need the military brackets. The Alts are LARGE case GM units with Isolated grounds. You need to have a military type Isolated ground on the right (passenger side) but the driver side you can use a "autozone" replacement. Look in the wkie or whatever that is on the CUCV here on SS and it will show you the part number. I Got the cross and installed one in my 09 with 0 problems. THE PASSANGER SIDE *****MUST***** HAVE A ISOLATED GROUND*****
