This appears to be a WWII? Dodge chassis with center fold hood and flat fenders. The rest of the sheet metal is gone. Drive train is intact (probably frozen up). Check out the pictures.IMG_0837.jpgIMG_0836.jpgIMG_0835.jpgIMG_0834.jpgIMG_0838.jpgIMG_0839.jpg

Half ton Dodge, without winch. Could have been anyone of the weapons carrier (pickup types - not ambulance, command car) but probably was a closed cab, as many were used on construction of Alaska (ALCAN) Highway.

Does not have to be a WC41, just because of the duels in the rear. That was the cool part about the 1/2 ton Dodge rims, you could set them up as duels on any 1/2 ton Dodge.
One of the few, Frank USMC RET

Early-ish half ton Dodge WC. Code on the engine will probably be T207 or T211 if you clean it. Frank is right about the dual wheels. I don't think this was a dual wheel unit from the factory, as the Maintenance trucks and the like ( that had factory duals ) had helper springs on the back axle and some had fishplated chassis strengthening - don't see either here.

The chassis number, from the front left chassis rail side, will lead you to a Build Card that will tell you exactly what it started as and the date it was built.
