Can I use K1 in a Deuce

I think I know the answer, but I figured I better ask. Will a multifuel engine burn K1 kerosene?

I am going to say yes?

Will it have any down sides and should I get all the diesel out of the tank first?

The only reason I want to do it is it is about .40 cheaper right now.

I would add some oil to it if you are gonna run it straight.

Would 1/2 desil 1/2 K1 work , or not enough oil?

yes ... and no... leave your diesel in it will mix just fine. if the k1 is 'dyed' it is 'not for on-road use' usually kero is for non-taxed use only.

I've usde k1 before w/ no probs. I also put WMO in the tank-- makes ALL fuel look black

I have mixed K1 half and half with no2 diesel and it works just fine I mixed a couple quarts of motor oil just to be on the safe side

I just picked up some HHO ( 100+G) from a friend..that stuff WAS rather red also...not any more lol

It may run a little hot unless you have the fuel density compensator activated... ACE

On the same vein of discussion here, what if I had contam that was mainly petrol based (unleaded) how much oil would you mix in to make it good enough to burn in a multi-fuel, I normally get mine in 25 litre barrels.
