Can you identify these marks?

Just wondering why the number 13 is sprayed on several components on the truck? Looks like it is on the differentials and the A-arms. Does the military normally spray the date on components when they are replaced?

Most likely an inspection date rather then a replaced date. Could be something from one of the rebuild facilities or something that a certain FMS shop did.

My unit writes on a bracket on the 1151 hmmwv's when they change hub fluid.
