been down this road before. glow plugs are a few years old. have had very little use. truck had a few thousand miles put on in the last 3 years. alternators are charging fine. the resister is gone. getting the 12v from the block above the brake booster. seems to cycle fine. about 8 to 10 seconds. batteries are new. starter is new. not sure what im missing. ideas?? thanks [thumbzup]

From the -20 TM, Disconnect each glow plug lead and check for resistance between glow plug terminal

and ground. Resistance should be 1-3 ohms.

You should simply follow the troubleshooting section of the -20tm, where it covers "cranks but does not start".

If you read the TM, glow plugs can go bad in 2 minutes or less by simply leaving the key on with a cold engine.
